On March 1st, Darine Harouny (Midwife, FCPI) and Rania Merheb (Midwife, FCPI)presented an Introductory Session of the Creighton Model FertilityCare System at the Spiritual Court in Zouk to discuss topics pertaining to women's health and fertility.
To celebrate Worldwide FertilityCare Week March 17-23, 2024, Cedar of Lebanon organized 2 series of online talks one in English and in Arabic. In the English series, we hosted a nationally known speaker Professor Janet Smith.
An article about the series in English highlighting the benefits of charting your cycle using the Creighton Model FertilityCare System for your Life, Health and Marriage was published in the Maronite Voice.
The highlight of the Arabic series was an excellent talk with Dr Alain Chalhoub titled: Understanding the science and ethics of IVF and discovering NaProTechnology: A Restorative Approach to Women’s Health and Fertility.

At the end of April, Marise presented to the High School students of the Antonine Sisters about the Creighton Model FertilityCare System NaproTechnology and SPICE - an acronym of five words: Spiritual, Physical, Intellectual, Communicative and Emotional. SPICE is a tool for taking care of ourselves on all these different levels. Efforts are underway to prepare additional lectures and offer it for students in different grades.
Also in June a lengthy article in Arabic was written about the Creighton Model FertilityCare System and NaProTechnology and published in Magazine Abrachiyati for Jounieh Eparchy. The article on pages 20 -23 can be accessed here.
