Learning the Creighton model empowers women to become in tune with reproductive cycles. To learn it, a series of teaching sessions must be attended with a FertilityCare Practitioner FCP or FCP intern.
The first step to learning the method is to attend an Introductory Session. The Introductory Session is a slide presentation which introduces interested couples /women to the System and provides in depth information about the System and it takes about one hour to one hour and a half. These Sessions can also be scheduled to accommodate an individual's needs and schedule. They can be done privately or in group, in person or online via Skype.
At the end of the Session the client decides whether to continue with instruction. If they chose to pursue the learning process, client couple/woman are then given a Personal Fertility Kit that contains a book, chart, stamps packet and everything needed to begin tracking of their fertility.
The couple is then scheduled for a Follow-Up appointment. The follow up sessions are private appointments structured for the purpose of support, learning, reviewing charting, and assessing instructions. They are essential so the system can be tailor made for every client and so the client gain quick confidence in using the system.
The Follow-Up sessions are every two weeks during the first two months of learning and then are less frequent after that. There are 8 Follow-up sessions over a one-year period.
All services are private and confidential. Daytime and evening hours are available. Long distance learning is available through Zoom or FaceTime when it is not possible to come in person for instruction. The method is affordable to anyone and may be reimbursed by insurances when invoices are submitted.
You can register for an online session by clicking here.
